Celebrated as the largest and most coveted national park of Madhya Pradesh, Kanha is one of the few national parks that houses a large number of species, including the Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopards, Wild Dog, and Sloth Bear, among many others.
We offer a 3-night, 4-day Kanha wildlife photography tour Itinerary to tourists that includes back-to-back safaris to ensure they get the best opportunity of animal spotting through the bamboo and sal forest, gorge, meadows, and many other beautiful landscapes.
Safari: Once in Kanha, you must book a safari, which is definitely the most popular thing to do in the national park. Jeep safaris and elephant safaris are easily available for visitors and allow them to witness the exotic beauty of wild animals in their natural habitat. One can capture some Instagram-worthy photos and flaunt them on their social media feed.
Museum Visit: A visit to the Kanha Museum will let you learn about natural history and topography. The museum has successfully preserved the evidence of all species of flora and fauna.
Night Safari: If you love adventure, simply take a night safari through the national park. The activity has been introduced by the authorities recently. The night activity lasts for two hours, during which the guide will take you through the Khatia buffer zone.
Mesmerizing Sunset: Watching the sunset at Bamni Dadar is an awe-inspiring experience. You will be directed to the highest point of the national park, overlooking vast meadows. It is recommended to take the last evening safari, which ends with beautiful sunset views.
Jungle Trekking: Kanha National Park is a paradise for trekking lovers, where they get the opportunity to do a thrilling jungle trek through the forest trails. Tourists are guided and accompanied by a trained naturalist for a walk that lasts for two hours. Expect to be driven up to Khatia before getting a permit for the trek. The walk will help you spot the beautiful forest vegetation, exotic flowers, butterflies, insects, birds, and small mammals.
The park is open to visitors from mid-October to the end of June. In general, Kanha National Park experiences hot and humid weather. The summers here are harsh, and visitors must take necessary precautions, such as wearing a hat and broad-spectrum sunscreen. During monsoons, the national park receives heavy rainfall. Guides and travel experts recommend the period between October and February as the best time to visit the national park. During this time, the temperature in Kanha is pleasant and comfortable for safaris and treks.
